Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Awesome Mobile Software Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use the Halloween AI Filter mobile application (“App”). We follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Data We Collect

The App is designed to minimize data collection. We do not collect or store names, emails, contact details, or location, and we do not operate our own servers or databases.

Limited data may be processed by trusted third parties so the App can function:

  • Photos you upload to generate AI images. These are sent to AIProxy and then to Google Gemini API for processing.
  • Subscription information handled by RevenueCat using anonymized identifiers to verify purchases and manage subscriptions.
  • App Store / device data that Apple may process as part of your App Store account and transactions.

We do not have access to your Apple account details or payment data.

2.1 Face Data

The App may process images that include faces to generate AI‑based visual effects (for example, Halloween costumes, filters, or decorations).

  • No facial recognition or identification is performed.
  • We do not analyze, detect, or store facial landmarks, face geometry, or any biometric identifiers.
  • Photos are transmitted temporarily to our third‑party providers (AIProxy and Google Gemini) solely to apply the visual transformations you request.
  • We do not retain or share these images or any facial data. Generated images are saved only on your device unless you choose to share or back them up.
  • Per Google’s documentation, Gemini may cache content for up to 24 hours for performance, debugging, or abuse‑prevention purposes.

3. How Your Data Is Processed

  • Uploaded photos are transmitted securely via AIProxy to Google Gemini API to create the requested images.
  • We do not permanently store, reuse, or access your uploaded or generated images.
  • Per Google’s public documentation, content processed by Gemini API may be cached for up to 24 hours for performance, debugging, or abuse‑prevention purposes and may be subject to United States law.
  • We cannot control or guarantee third‑party retention beyond their own policies.

4. Local Storage

Generated images are saved only on your device. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored images and data are permanently deleted.

5. No User Accounts

The App uses anonymous identifiers (e.g., via RevenueCat). We do not create or store explicit user accounts, emails, or passwords.

6. Future Analytics

We currently do not use analytics. In the future we may integrate privacy‑compliant analytics to understand usage and improve the App. If we do, we will update this policy and, where required by law, provide an option to opt out.

7. Data Security

We and our partners use industry‑standard measures to protect data in transit, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not store personal data ourselves, there is generally no information for us to access, rectify, or delete. For data controlled by third‑party providers (Google, RevenueCat, Apple), please contact them directly via their privacy channels.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly process data from children.

10. International Transfers

Data processed by Google Gemini and AIProxy may be handled in the United States or other jurisdictions outside the UK and is subject to the privacy laws of those countries.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If significant changes are made, we will notify you in the App or via the App Store listing. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
